AI video tools rarely show their price per second. They sell credits, plans and per-clip rates, and every model uses those credits at a different rate. This site does that math so you can compare models in dollars per second before you pay for anything.
Who keeps it
I maintain AI Video Costs, and it's independent. Listings are free: none of the companies listed here pays to be included, and none of them has endorsed the site. Some have affiliate programs (see below), and any sponsorship is labelled and kept outside the comparison data. If you have a question about a price or a listing, email me at brian@theintrovertedmarketer.online.
How prices are sourced
- Every price comes from the provider's own pricing page or API documentation. Each row links to that page and shows the date I checked it.
- Resellers are priced from their own published pages and listed separately from the official APIs.
- If a page needs a sign-in, I say so on the row. If a number isn't published, the cell says n/a. I don't estimate a price and present it as published.
- Per-second figures are my own math from the published price, for example dividing a per-clip price by the clip length. The Methodology section shows every formula.
- When I recheck a price, the row's date changes, and the change log lists each update by date.
Prices can change between checks, so confirm on the provider's site before you buy. If you spot a price that's out of date, send a correction and I'll check it against the source.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up or buy through one of them, I may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. Right now that covers links to Kie.ai, Higgsfield, RunningHub, WaveSpeed and ElevenLabs.
Affiliate links don't decide which tools are listed, the order they appear in or the prices shown. A tool with no affiliate program gets the same row as one with a program.
